Layouts - with purchase incentive

I went from making about 5 digital scrap layouts per year, average, to making 7 just today. I'm a bit wiped out now!

I was using my 2 new kits to make these layouts, to help promote the kits and give some examples for how they can be used.

Designing again! Look at the pretties

I've been really nervous about this....

I used to design digital scrapbook kits. Back when they were first coming out. I designed with Scrapbook-elements for a long time and then moved on to designer digitals, with a break in the middle while I ran a different design business. Then I retired when I moved to the States and has another baby. I figured it was a good time to just focus all my energies on my young family.

Anyway, I was recently given the honor of being asked by the wonderful Stacy Carlson of Gotta Pixel to be guest designer for the month of October.

I thought, sure, it can't be that difficult, right? But man, it's been a while since I've done this and it was a lot harder than I remembered. I've stayed up late a whole bunch and ditched loads of ideas and things I worked on because it was just not looking right. The industry has changed so much in just a few short years, and it's been a real challenge for me to come up with 2 kits.

But eventually, I did. These are digital scrapbooking kits, containing things like papers, brush sets and little elements to help you make your own digital scrapbook layout. It's all downloadable, no physical papers or anything. I put a lot of work into these, and I'm satisfied to see them up for sale here .



This one is Tree hugger. Earthy tones, greens and browns, lots of eko friendly symbolism and word art phrases.



And scribble. A cutesy, pinky, girly kit with a kid's art theme. Also some chalked art background papers. This kit includes a quick page that you just slide your photos into and add text if you want and voila, an instant layout.

Ahhhh that's more like it.

Glenn slept so well last night! My boobs hadn't expected it, based on the previous night and were in overproductive mode. I had to wake him to feed him at about 6.30 am lest I explode. He had a guzzle with his eyes closed then went straight back to sleep. And is still sleeping now at 10.30 am!

I'm in a much better mood today. On my to do list is : visit post office, visit library ON MY OWN to get myself a book, do a huge clean and purge of the house, with Rene's help of course, take down tree and decorations, grudgingly (not ready for Christmas to be done)

Happy New Year

We didn't do much, the kids crashed out and we sat up on the bed having boring conversations, but it was sweet. Then we watched some lost season 4 special features, but gave up soon into it as we were tired.

I'm hoping to get more scrapbooking done this year. So I figured I'd start off as I hope to continue. Here's a page of the fam.

This is so easy, you just drag your photos into the predesigned pages and click save. I figured I'd do this instead of writing a Christmas letter, so folks can get a general idea of what our year was like in a fun way.

Photoshop Brush Set

It's been a while since I've done this! I made a photoshop brush set. Some sketchy swirls.
Let me know if you want it, I can probably send it to 5 or so people. It's about 1.5 MB in size.

I'm hoping to get making some more supplies - papers and brushes mostly, for my own personal use. I don't mind sharing with folks who read this blog, just understand these are not professionally done - the pics are not perfect, there's no terms of use file or index file etc. I'm just sharing in a friends and family sort of context.

I love every piece

I just don't have it in me anymore, this whole digi scrapping thing. I need to find some inspiration pieces and try to work on something. Anyway I made this in like 5 minutes, because I just wanted to at least have one page of the new guy.
