We have been provoked to look up Kaya's ancestry recently. As it turns out, on her paternal grandparent side, going quite far back, there is some alien genealogy. It took a lot of heavy research but it appears that her Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother, a farmer in Ireland, was abducted one day and came back looking 9 months pregnant. The baby boy was born without complication but he was...let's say...a little different. They blamed it on a bad batch of potatoes she had eaten the day before she turned up 9 months pregnant, but secretly folks new there was something else going on.
Well, her Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandaddy was raised in seclusion and learned to hide his....differences. When he was fully grown he had control of his powers and could look completely normal (until he got angry, and he made a public spectacle once or twice at the market). He married and had 3 boys and 2 girls. There are rumors of some minor attributes showing up in his children and grandchildren at about age 7, but it seemed as though it all filtered out and there wasn't much left from the little green man lineage.
Until yesterday. It started out as a normal day. Nothing particularly unusual about Kaya. She ate her breakfast as normal and was ready to play.
A little while later, I noticed her skin looked an off color. I asked if she was feeling ok, she said she felt a bit weird, she had no fever, but her voice sounded shrill.
I was contemplating taking her to the Dr when things took a turn for the worse....
Her eyes started glowing red, she grew some bumps out of her head.
Now I've seen ET, and cried at it even in adulthood. I know enough to know better than to call the doc or notify any authorities. They would take her away an do tests on her. I would hate for that to happen...because...
even though she has developed some serious outer space attitude..
...we think she looks pretty cute.
We love our little alien girl. I'm curious to see if it will happen to our other kids or not.
