Baby Stellan

I've mentioned this baby before. His name is Stellan and his mommy has a very popular blog and a massive twitter following.

She is a crunchy Christian mother, who writes beautifully and shares many wonderful stories and thoughts through the blogosphere. During her pregnancy with Stellan (she also has 3 other kids, 4 and under), she was told her baby had a heart condition and wouldn't survive to be born. She continued with the pregnancy and people all over the world prayed hard. And her baby was born, apparently perfect, apparently healed. Read his story here

But a month ago, his heart flipped into SVT again, and he's been in hospital since then, has flown to Boston with his mom (while she leaves behind her young children and husband back in MN) to have a surgery which was unsuccessful; meanwhile the world is praying, taking photos of his name, making news reports, buying bracelets and constantly checking for twitter updates in hopes that this sweet baby will pull through.

I heard a song on the radio today (technically yesterday, since it's after midnight now) and thought of Stellan. So I did what I do, and I made a video.
Warning, get a kleenex before you watch it.

Please pray for Stellan.

Just dropping in from Mckmama's blog also, to thank you for putting together that beautiful video. The music was meant to be heard and using pictures and text from Stellan's blog just tied it all together. Hello,

I came by your blog after reading MckMama's and really enjoyed the video you made for Stellan. Amazing!

Question: I have a 5 minute video that I have tried o upload to "Vimeo" with no success and Tangle. Any suggestions on the best site to use to do this. It was actually a school project for my friend's daughter. Thanks for any help you can give.

BTW, total advocate for breast feeding. I nursed all 5 including twins in the end. Difficult, manageable, certainly doable, and a huge blessing!

I went to check on baby Stellan (as I do each day several times a day as if he were my own or something. LOLOL) Suddenly I saw a black screen for a video. Oh I love videos. I wish I could do them myself, I just can't always remember how to do them, etc..... I have to say, I don't know what your profession is, (today was the first time I had seen your blog and I love it) but you have a gift. God has given you a gift to tell a story with pictures and song and words all together. Thank you for sharing such a precious gift with so many. I believe that there was no coincidence in Stellan being discharged today and you having this video today. God knows how to make a miracle look PERFECTLY BEAUTIFUL.

God Bless

This video is absolutely beautiful. I cried my eyes out watching it after following Jennifer's journey with Stellan for so long and having my own little boy who I can't imagine going through all of this with. Our journey to parenthood, through adoption, and through Owen's attachment difficulties has been so challenging, but I can only imagine what it's like to see your baby so sick so many times and to keep that faith that God will indeed heal this child. What a blessing that Stellan has been discharged from the hospital and is doing well. Bless you for making this video that they will have always to remember this time!
