I heard Lana praying in the back seat of the car last night. I didn't catch it all but the parts I heard were,
"Dear God, thank you for the sunshine. Please make the sun keep shining. Please give me my own cat if I stop twisting my hair. Oh and God, Happy Father's Day"

You tell that beautiful, sweet little girl that if she stops twisting her hair I'll get her the kitty cat of her choice - if that's what it'll take to get her to stop pulling out those blonde locks. I promised Kaya a trip to Disney, the least I can do is give Lana Belle a kitty!
Yeah we've already promised her a cat. She doesn't have to stop twisting it altogether, that would be too hard for her. We have a chart though and she gets a sticker everytime she chooses to stop twisting it and do something different with her hands. She only has about 6 stickers left to go. Lana's an extremely different personality type from Kaya and I don't think she'll be able to break a habbit as easily as Kaya at all. I'm sure it will take years and lots of patience. but the sticker chart thing is a good way for her to learn some control over it at least, and to recognise when she's twisting it.
Out of the mouths of Babes. I didn't remember to wish God a Happy Fathers Day. What a kid!
