It's been almost a week since I last posted. I've had a pretty bad week. I've been feeling low, emotionally and physically exhausted and I've been ill. It was very difficult to cope with the every day norm while I was feeling so bad. But thankfully I survived and so did the kids, and I'm at the other side now. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed still, with tons of housework to catch up on and lots of computer work to catch up on, and an inbox so chocablock full that I don't know when I'll ever catch up. But I am feeling slightly more capable. And I'll take my time and get there when I can.
Anyway I came on here to join in this week's
I heart faces. The theme is - contemplative. This is a pic I took of a piper at some friends' wedding, and I thought it would fit this theme. It was such a beautiful location for a wedding, back near where I grew up in the North of Scotland. And we had pretty weather for once - sunshine and blue sky. The piper looked so majestic on the early Spring Scottish hills and like he's gazing out and contemplating the beauty of his Country.
